Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) & Educational Partnerships

Our Services:
- Provide administrative management and oversight of DOT MSI
Programs and educational partnership activities including
the ONEDOT Student Internship Program, faculty exchanges in research
and development, technology and DOT sponsored grants and fellowships
- Administer DOT's White House Liaison Programs for Historically
Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic
Serving Institutions, Tribal Colleges
and Universities, Asian American
Pacific Islander Initiatives, and Persons with Disabilities
Initiatives.
- Support DOT diversity initiatives through partnerships with
minority institutions of higher education, non-profit educational
institutions, public interest groups and organizations representing
underserved populations.
- Identify barriers to access to Federal benefits and opportunities
within DOT for educational partnerships, grants and research projects
and collaborations between DOT and minority educational institutions
and develop strategies and initiatives to overcome such barriers.
